Nurse Practitioner

Paul is a nurse practitioner specializing in psychiatric and mental health disorders. He is prepared and trained at the doctorate level to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals. He uses a holistic approach with counseling, medications, alternative therapies, and cutting edge research and

teaching to provide optimal outcomes. He uses empathy and attentive listening to build therapeutic relationships. While he recognizes the importance of medications, his treatment philosophy focuses on supporting individual strengths and coping mechanisms. His goal is to see each person as an individual and meet them where they are at in their journey. He specializes in mood disorders including Bipolar disorder and depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, Personality disorders, and substance abuse.

Paul has over 15 years of experience with substance abuse and chemical dependency on an inpatient unit as an RN. He also worked independently as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in an outpatient clinic doing initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits. Paul graduated in 2018 from the prestigious University of Washington with a Doctorate Degree in Nursing Practice (DNP). Outside the clinic Paul enjoys traveling and gardening with his wife and 3 children.

Shay finished her Bachelor of Arts in English from Adventist University of the Philippines and worked as a teacher in Southeast Asia and South Korea before coming to the US. Shay enjoys gardening, traveling with her family, learning different cultures, and mingling with people.
